David Gladney
President

David Started the Restoration Division for Cardinal Roofing in April of 2016 as Vice President of Restoration. In January of 2021 the Restoration Division was separated from Cardinal Roofing and Cardinal Waterproofing Inc. was formed.

An industry expert with over 40 years of experience in the field of Exterior Envelope Restoration and Consulting. David Gladney began his career at 18, working for Construction Consulting Laboratories as a Mock-up test technician. Over the next 6 years David worked for various consulting groups such as Curtainwall Design & Consulting, Architectural Wall Systems and Dallas Laboratories. He traveled the United States investigating, testing and finding solutions for the reported problems clients were having with buildings in their portfolios. David made the decision to apply his talents to the contracting side of the Exterior Envelope remediation business. In 1988 David started the Restoration Division for April Building Services. Over the next 9 years the Restoration Division flourished into a viable and important part of April Building Services. In 1997 David accepted the position of National Vice President of Business Development for American Restoration. Over the next 2 decades David was responsible for $150,000,000 in sales with projects ranging from Key West Florida to Seattle Washington. David developed, sold and negotiated projects, some in excess of $30,000.000.00, such as the Tampa Federal Courthouse and One Shell Square in New Orleans.

David is a graduate of Eastfield College. He currently resides in Granbury with his Wife. He has 3 grown children, one of which is a Project Manager for Cardinal.

Aaron Gladney
Vice President Operations

Aaron joined the Cardinal Waterproofing team in April of 2016, starting as a technician. Since the start of his career, Aaron has worked his way up from entry level technician to Vice President of Operations.

As the Vice President of Operations, Aaron oversees critical aspects of Cardinal Waterproofing’s operations, ensuring that the team delivers top-notch waterproofing solutions for commercial high-rises. His strategic vision and hands-on approach have been instrumental in maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.

Previously to joining Cardinal, Aaron worked with American Restoration which is another Commercial Restoration company. He enlisted in the Army National Guard for 6 years as a Paratrooper and attended the Fire Science Academy at Blinn College. In that time, he was blessed with a beautiful daughter that he adores. He currently is a resident of Fate, TX where he lives with his wife, daughter, and their Labrador retrievers.

Aaron looks forward to continuing his growth and his career with Cardinal and is hopeful for what the future holds.

Nolan Mizerik
Project Management / Marketing

Nolan Mizerik started with Cardinal Waterproofing in January of 2024. Hailing from Waco, Texas, Nolan graduated from Texas State University in 2020 with a degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration.

Nolan’s journey began as an Assistant Superintendent for a prominent commercial general contractor, where he learned the ropes of the field before transitioning into the office as Project Engineer and quickly assuming the role of Project Manager.

Beyond the construction site, Nolan enjoys spending his free time on the golf course, honing his skills and embracing the challenge of the game. He cherishes moments with his fiancée, Regan, and their beloved dogs, Duke and Goose, creating a balance that fuels his passion for both work and life.

With a passion for meeting new contacts in the waterproofing industry, Nolan is eager to explore and estimate potential projects, showcasing his commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. His leadership and expertise make him an invaluable asset as we continue to deliver exceptional results.
